With more powerful and comprehensive on-site monitoring and control functions than previous PVTVM products, the PT2060 system is a fully digitalized, multi-channel protection meter realized with today’s most advanced DSP microprocessor technology after years of hard work and research by senior engineers who have long been involved in vibration protection. It can be connected to a variety of vibration sensors (acceleration, velocity, displacement, eddy current, etc.) and process sensors (flow, pressure, temperature, etc.) to provide real-time status monitoring and protection of the unit or machine.The PT2060 system digitally exchanges information with PLCs, DCSs, computers and other equipment to provide a full range of safe and reliable protection and monitoring of the operating status of the unit or machine. PT2060 Monitoring System Components:
PT2060/10 PROX Eddy Current Module
The PROX module monitors and processes most signals from eddy current probes. Including:
◆ Radial vibration: monitors shaft vibration.
◆ Axial Displacement: monitors shaft axial displacement with 5mm/8mm/11mm eddy current probes.
◆ Eccentricity: Monitor shaft eccentricity.
◆ Expansion: Monitor turbine expansion.
◆ Low-frequency vibration: monitor low-frequency machinery. For example: hydraulic turbine. Starting frequency 0.5Hz.
◆ Rotation speed: monitor the rotation speed.
◆ Zero speed: monitor the zero speed of large rotating machinery.
◆ Reversal: monitors the reversal of hydraulic turbines.
PT2060/20 SEIS Vibration Module
The SEIS module can process most signals from vibration sensors. Including:
◆ Acceleration and Velocity: any ICP type vibration sensor. For example: acceleration sensors, velocity sensors (TM0782A, TM0793V).
◆ Velocity or displacement: any magneto-electric type sensor.
◆ Low Frequency Displacement: Any low frequency sensor (TM079VD, etc.).
◆ Housing expansion: LVDT.
◆ Composite vibration: Dual sensors, including: eddy current probe and velocity probe. This module can convert acceleration signal into velocity signal output, or convert velocity signal into displacement signal output.

PT2060/40 RELAY Relay Module
The RELAY module is a programmable relay module that can be programmed with status parameters (Alarm/OK) for all channels. Its function is very similar to that of a PLC. Each RELAY module can support up to 16 relays.
PT2060/43 R-RELAY redundant relay module
Its functions are very similar to those of a PLC. Each PT2060/43 R-RELAY module has two independent circuits for dual redundant outputs for relay alarms.
PT2060/53 O-SPEED Overspeed Protection Module
Each O-SPEED module contains one tacho channel. Three O-SPEED modules, one PT2060/43 R-RELAY module and one PT2060/90 POWER module can form an overspeed protection system.
PT2060/90 POWER Power Module
The POWER module consists of two redundant modules. Normally, one of these redundant modules can support the normal operation of the entire frame. It is also possible to set up two blocks to be used together and configured as a dual redundancy module.
PT2060/91 SIM System Interface Module
The SIM module has the following functions:
◆ System Parameter Configuration: It can configure all channel parameters, system parameters, communication parameters, and so on.
◆ Modbus communication: can communicate with PLC/DCS. Control system reset, alarm multiplication, alarm suppression.
◆ Dual key-phase channel: connect with key-phase eddy current probe to provide key-phase information to the system.
◆ Intra-frame communication: Realizes communication between modules within the frame.
PT2060/96 COMM Communication Module
The COMM module is a redundant Modbus communication module. Its Modbus functionality is very similar to that of the SIM module. The functions are as follows:
◆ Enables redundant Modbus communication.
◆ Redundant Modbus communication. ◆ Can be connected to the PT2060/80 DISP module.
PT2060/98 DISP module
The DISP module can be connected directly to the PT2060 system via a digital port to display status information. It consists of a touch screen PC and monitoring software such as PT2060-CFG.
PT2060/99 System Frame
Standard 19” frame supporting up to 48 channels, i.e. 12 signaling modules.
PT2060-CFG System Configuration Software
The configuration software allows parameterization of all modules.
