PVTVM Eddy Current Sensor TM0110 System 11mm
The 11mm eddy current probe from PVTVM is capable of measuring up to 4mm (160mil). The TM0110 eddy current sensor is used in applications where large range measurements are required. The TM0110 series of eddy current sensors meets the American Petroleum Institute API 670 standard. The system consists of an eddy current sensor, extension cable, and preamplifier. Some of the Piperis transmitters (TR/DTM) can be connected directly to the eddy current sensor and extension cable without the need for a preamplifier. This design makes the system easier to install and offers a better price/performance ratio.
TM0110 System Components
TM0110 Eddy Current Probe: The TM0110 series sensor probe, with a new design, makes this new probe have longer life, more stable and more reliable output. In addition, the new special coaxial cable, all make the new probe more rugged, can work better in difficult conditions.TM0110 eddy current sensor and the extension cable of the joint parts used in the rubber sealing, so as to prevent the outside world of dust, oil and dirt erosion.
Extension cables for the standard TM0110 probe system are available in 0.5 m and 1.0 m lengths, with 5 m and 9 m length options available for the integrated probe and cable.
Probes can be supplied in either imperial or metric, as well as reverse-mounted probes fitted to the internal sleeve of the probe housing assembly.
TM0181 Extension Cables: PVTVM uses specially designed coaxial extension cables to further improve the functionality and life of the system. Different options are available for the length of the probe and the extension cable. To determine how long an extension cable is required, first determine the length of the eddy current sensor. The overall length of the eddy current sensor and extension cable can only be 5 meters and 9 meters in length. The system extension cable uses specially designed gold connectors, which comply with the API671 standard and are compatible with other similar products.
TM0182 preamplifier: The TM0182 is the preamplifier for the TM0110 eddy current sensor, which is fully insulated from the earth. It eliminates the preamplifier insulation that was to be applied in older systems. There are two cable lengths available between the probe and the preamplifier, 5-meter and 9-meter cables. Between the preamplifier and the host computer, it can be connected with a 300 meter cable without reducing the overall functionality of the system. It is required to use a three-core shielded cable to connect the preamplifier to the monitoring meter from PVTVM, e.g. PVTVM PT2060 monitoring meter.
