On the afternoon of January 26, 2025, the China Chemical Equipment Association held its 2024 annual summary meeting at the association’s secretariat. The leaders and colleagues of the association gathered together to review the work process of the association over the past year, summarize work experience, achievements, and shortcomings, and at the same time, make prospects and plans for the new year’s work.

At the meeting, the heads of each department reported their work in sequence. Everyone provided a detailed introduction to the main work and completion status of our department in the past year, as well as the issues that need to be coordinated. At the same time, they also looked forward to the work plan and arrangement for the new year. During the conference, the association commended the outstanding employees of the Secretariat selected in 2024.

Zhao Min, Secretary and Chairman of the China Chemical Equipment Association, comprehensively reviewed the achievements of the association in party building work, business activities, member services, and industry self-discipline management over the past year. In 2024, all employees of the association will conscientiously study and implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and instructions on the industry. In their work, they will unify their thoughts and actions with the decision-making and deployment of the Party Central Committee centered on Comrade Xi Jinping, and promote technological progress and development in the industry through solid and practical work. The association’s party organization takes the initiative to implement comprehensive strict governance of the party, comprehensively do a good job in the association’s party building work, actively promote the construction of party conduct and clean governance, benchmark and constantly promote and standardize the association’s management, and lead the development of the association’s business work.

In the past year, the association has successfully completed the appraisal, evaluation, supervision and inspection of pressure equipment commissioned by the State Administration for Market Regulation and relevant provincial (municipal) market supervision bureaus; Successfully held the annual industry conference and association council, attracting numerous experts, scholars, and business representatives from the industry to participate; Actively planned and organized multiple highly specialized training and certification sessions for industry professionals, creating a platform for member units and various sectors of society to enhance their professional skills; Simultaneously participated in the formulation and revision of multiple standards. With the cooperation of industry experts, the association has completed the editing, publishing, and distribution of professional magazines and books. The work of the association has played an effective role in promoting the progress of production processes and equipment in the chemical equipment industry, as well as improving the quality of practitioners, while effectively enhancing the core competitiveness of the industry.

At the meeting, everyone actively spoke and shared their work experiences. The leaders of the association fully affirmed the work of the association in the past year and provided valuable opinions and suggestions on how to further enhance the association’s service capabilities and strengthen cooperation among members. Everyone agrees that the association plays an indispensable role as a bridge and link in the industry, and can continue to innovate and develop, providing good services for the technological improvement of the chemical equipment industry. The association will adhere to the service concept of “serving the country, serving the people, serving society, and serving the industry” in the future, and create more value for the progress of the industry.

The successful convening of this year-end summary meeting not only provided members of the association with a comprehensive and clear understanding of the work of the past year, but also pointed out the direction for future development. I believe that with the joint efforts of all members, the China Chemical Equipment Association will achieve even better results in the new year and make greater contributions to the high-quality development of the chemical equipment industry!
