The TCM temperature acquisition module can receive 2-wire, 3-wire, or 4-wire heating resistors, thermocouples with various division numbers such as K, J, S, E, T, R, B, N, C, etc. It can also mix various types of inputs. For thermocouple measurement, TCM has a built-in cold junction compensation circuit; For special application scenarios, built-in linearization curves facilitate flexible user applications.
The protocol conversion module HMC has rich alarm functions, which can be easily and quickly configured through software setting of addresses and jumper free settings. After installation and operation, there is no need for maintenance, and the performance is stable, greatly reducing the maintenance workload of instrument personnel.
2.1 Save hardware, cable, and construction costs (see figure below)
The comparison between the left and right images above shows that after adopting the TCS temperature concentration system, there is no longer a need to configure specialized transmitters, long-distance cables, safety barriers, temperature receiving cards, etc. for each temperature point, greatly reducing investment costs; At the same time, it also reduces the amount of construction work required for laying cables.
2.2 Wide range input reduces the hassle of selecting and wiring
It can accept 2, 3, 4 wire Pt, Cu, Ni thermistors or 9 types of thermocouples (J, K, E, T, R, S, N, B, C), resistance (0-4000 ohms) and millivolt (50 to 1000mV) signal inputs, greatly reducing the additional selection and wiring work due to different temperature sensors,
2.3 Each input channel is independent of each other and has high stability
The temperature concentration module TCM adopts independent A/D converters for each input channel, and the channels do not affect each other, ensuring stable operation at each point. (As shown in the figure below)
2.4 Various input signals can be mixed freely to save backup resources
Due to the independence of input channels, it supports arbitrary mixed input of signals from different temperature sensors, thus avoiding the need to reserve backup ports for various different sensors.
2.5 Fast and accurate fault diagnosis function, shortening on-site service time
The HMC protocol conversion module has multiple fault detection functions, which can quickly provide diagnostic information for communication faults, temperature sensor disconnection, over limit, and power supply issues. It can also output relay signals as needed.
2.6 Communication protocol disclosure to avoid additional costs in the later stage
The on-site TCM temperature concentration module and indoor HMC protocol conversion module communicate using the publicly available HART protocol, without the need for dedicated cables, configuration tools, or professional service personnel, thus avoiding additional costs in the later stages.
2.7 Convenient configuration
It can be configured through three different methods: PC software, HART controller, or HART-232 converter.
2.8 Small size, saving control room cabinet space
The width of the protocol conversion module HMC is only 50mm, which is equivalent to the width of a mobile phone.
2.9 Suitable for hazardous environments
